I'm pretty sure you like animals and more particularly, cats. Lensmaster Groovyfinds put together a Squidoo page that features her cat, Mookie... and posted a bunch of funny cats photos along with funny cat stories of the Mookie cat. Yep, this is a talking cat! If you too like animal stories that are all fun and bring joy, go visit Groovyfinds' page you'll be glad you did! 

Lensmaster Skiesgreen loves to write about topics that systematically (and naturally) bring debate. Controversial or not, she definitely is able to manage to have you enter a debate, give your opinion and even sometimes share her views. This time, I found a lens where everyone is free to share their beliefs about the purpose of education for children. In Educating Young Children she writes general facts about children education, her thoughts about it and asks her guests to give their own point of view. Once again, it's a great page with a great lensmaster behind the scenes.

Have you met Susie Lehto, aka Tipi, on Squidoo? I blessed her Squidoo Lensmaster Tipi is Susie Lehto page because it's what I consider as a great lensography. What is a lensography? Well, it's something between a biography (about me page) and a library (all works made by the person page). Tipi gathered the most bright and colorful graphics, all her Squidoo page links, and the most inspiring quotes on this one page! I more particularly like Sittonbull's writings about Tipi right before the guestbook and invite you to read it!

Ever wondered what do Chinese birth year signs link to? Did you know that 2010-2011 will be the year of the Tiger? Do you know your own Chinese sign? Lensmaster AJ is a Tiger of metal and this new Chinese year will be hers. If you are interested in astrology and more particularly in Chinese astrology, you'll be delighted by AJ's wonderful Year of the Tiger lens! Not only will you learn everything related to the Chinese Tiger sign but you will also learn which other sign is compatible with a tiger; wich is not, the origins of these signs, their meaning. Well, all in all this lens is a fantastic astrological resource. Hope for more from you, AJ!

Dermographic urticaria. What do you know about it? Before going to this Squidoo page, I even didn't heard about this disease! But once I visited the page, I was shocked by what I was reading! There isn't even a good treatment for this! One of those 100's of "orphan diseases" as we call it in my country! However, while the problem might hurt, Lensmaster Flynn_the_cat did a wonderful job when setting the page up! She made it a piece of art! What a wonderful tribute to those who are affected by dermographic urticaria (dermographism)! If you want to learn more, go visit the page.

Recent earthquakes hit the entire world like silver bullet and most of us who aren't even victims are shocked! Kathy Mac Graw lives upon the famous San Andreas Fault and felt some earthquakes lately. I'm a huge fan of holidays in England. You probably already read my lens about Broadstairs; which is my favorite place to stay in England. You'll learn everything you need to know before heading to Bournemouth in England. And, like I did in my own English holiday resort page, who said that England is a rainy country? Belgians call that a "Kicker", Frenchies call it a "Baby Foot", others call it a foosball table. Well, no matter the name, I like these game tables that I used to play to when I was a teenager. Not that I was a good player, but I wasn't a bad one either. And Chandler and Joey (Friends) even have such table as a dinner table in their apartment - I'm F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fan number one! So, why wouldn't I love this lens with a passion? I dream of having a foosball table in my home - not enough place, unfortunately! But this doesn't prevent foosball fans from getting to the Fluffanutta's Guide to Foosball Tables page. They might even get discount foosball tables!  

Dance of Living, created by lensmaster Wordwinder was awarded Lens of the Day the other day. Check this wonderful lens: Wordwinder gathered the most wonderful graphics and wrote amazing texts - all of this is lovely crafted with special fonts and tables. This is a lens that you owe yourself to visit!

As said in another post, I do have a garden and, while browsing Squidoo pages that would deserve blessings, one attracted my eyes and reminded me that... I forgot to plan tulip bulbs for next Springtime! If you're like me and like flowers - and more particularly tulips - you'll be delighted by the Flowergardener's page : Tulips, Tulips, and More Tulips. You'll also discover fantastic pictures of queen of the night black tulips, ice cream white tulips or even cummins purple tulips! 

I'm not fond of modern art but I like the way Sandyspider laid her Squidoo page out and think you would too. And on the assumption that you would like to learn the history of pop art, I suggest you to go to Pop Art History and discover their curiosities.

When I read Rude, Funny & Animal Themed Doormats, I had a big laugh! I imagined having one I saw on the page before my front door and my mother reading the quote on it... "Go Away!" How funny this would be! Not that I don't like my mother but she always has something negative to say when she comes to my home, whether on my way of cleaning the house, our hours to eat, the way I displayed my furniture, my curtains, etc. Well, she's never satisfied with what I do so, while I'm happy when she arrives, five minutes later I'd like to see her go, lol. Blessings to the Best Squidoo Lenses I Found

Are you about to get married? Are you on a short decorating budget for the wedding party? Lensmaster Kylyssa just put together a great lens that will help you find the best flower arrangements and ideas for wedding! When visiting Stretch Your Wedding Flower Budget, I discovered a lot of nice pictures (I love flowers!) but also many really interesting ideas for getting your wedding flower arrangements on a short budget - I don't plan to get married though but these ideas will serve in any circumstances, particularly the one of a flower and a leave in a long drink glass!

Lensmaster Greenspirit experienced hypertensive troubles and shares fight against high blood pressure, all steps are covered from her physical symptoms of high blood pressure to the measures taken to heal these troubles. The lens is very well crafted and worth a visit even if you don't have hypertensive troubles!

If you're more interested in cooking than in any other subject, Kapalbility put together a fantastic lens on Adobo chicken filipino recipe.  The page is actually a step-by-step recipe and includes a bonus: an Adobo pork recipe! Over both recipes; I'm tempted by the pork one ;) In addition, Kapalbility suggests a few indispensable accessories to cook a perfect Adobo meal!

Do you like crafts and dioramas? I do! I created a village for a train set that Saint Nicholas brought to my son when he was a little boy and I have a passion for tiny Christmas villages and other houses. And so I was charmed by a lens made by lensmaster motorpurr: Make Expresso Stands for Your Train Scene. This lens describes step-by-step and picture after picture how to make espresso stands. 

I'm European and very interested in any American Indian traditions, however, while I heard about the movie "The Dream Catchers", I didn't know what a dream catcher could be! With "What is a Dream Catcher and How Do You Make One", Kathy explains everything from the history of dream catchers to how to make dream catchers! 

Cynthia Arre is one of our best designers! And so, she created a lens that would teach you how to create animal paw prints that will make a lasting impression of your pet's paw. The lens is made like a tutorial, with step-by-step instructions and displays a very nice cat paw print. Obviously, you're free to make one of your dog, panther, or any other animal you cherish.

While visiting Carol Fisher's profile I noticed the name of an artist that I've never heard before: Jack Vettriano. So, I clicked on the link which brought me to the page and discovered that, these posters I love so much weren't Hollywood productions like I thought but were Jack Vettriano art! What a pleasure to be able to put a name on a poster! So, if you too like these 50's looking posters and want to learn more about their author, have a look at Jack Vettriano - The Book, you won't regret the trip!

This one touched my heart! I lived with an alcoholic and had to get separated after our son's birth because the guy was violent when drunk. However, it seems that in J_Barnhart's story, violence wasn't an habit. But the story's of Loving an Alcoholic is touching and I thank her for having put together this lens that is a light in the dark for those who have to cope with such things!

Best Panini Sandwich Recipes, by RMS

First time I ate panini sandwiches was in 2000 when I worked close to a snack bar that prepared the best panini I've ever ate! I've never think about making panini myself but since I've been to this lens made by Robin, I can say that I'm going to buy the necessary materials to make my own panini sandwiches so that I don't have to drive 50 km each time I want to eat one! And I highly recommend everyone to get to this lens and read it. Useful tip: do it few minutes before lunch or dinner.

I Love Brussels Sprouts - 5 Delicious Recipes, by JaguarJulie

Ah, this is the first cooking lens I'v ever seen in my life - and of course, my favorite one! And guess what... this talks through my favorite vegetables: Brussels sprouts. Not only do I love my home town Brussels but I also really like to eat vegetables that were named after my home town! My SquidAngel Journey - Day 2

Second day of Blessed Squidoo Lenses - Obviously, I blessed other lenses last week (actually I started as soon as I've got my nomination) but the blog didn't exist yet. I'll thus be adding here and there some lenses I blessed earlier too.

HOME AND GARDEN

Cool Outdoor Decor, by MiaBellezza. 

The great thing with this lens is that not only it does touch a field that I particularly love - home and garden decoration - but does also makes me feel better as I definitely hate the Winter season! MiaBellezza covers patio decoration, displaying nice settings as well as pergolas, gazebos and many more. Along with another lensmaster I won't name here she has a particular style: her lenses always look like magazines! Have a look at the lens and their wonderful illustration, you'll be glad you did!

Unique Garden Gates, by MiaBellezza.

If you're looking for a garden gate, I strongly advise you to go visit this lens! Personally I love ironwork so I find the graphics of iron gates exquisite. But there are gates that will please to anyone. Almost all styles are covered and there's even a makeover! I blessed two lenses of a single lensmaster today. Hope nobody will mind... Anyway, I'll browse and post more lenses.

Bunk Beds With Slides for Cool Kids, by HomeInteriorDesigner. 

This lensmaster presents a collection of fantastic bunk beds that any toddler would love! That kind of beds is really useful and perfect for small bedrooms and some of them include anything that a child needs! Moreover, many are adaptable (I know it because my son had such bed and adapted while growing, the bed now looks like one for teenager). So, I invite you to visit this lens if you need to buy furniture for kids bedroom or just for the pleasure.

Red Kitchen Essentials, by rms.

Red for kitchen was in vogue in Belgium twenty+ years ago. Since then, I stopped red kitchen accessories and opted for blue because the color was in vogue right after the red one. Now that I have some kind of country kitchen (oak cabinets) I'd like to bring a few colors back and think red would fit the kitchen to perfection. So, if you too like red for kitchen appliances, I suggest you to have a look at Robin's red kitchen series!

A Sweet Heart Apron for Valentine's Day, by Treasures-by-Brenda.

This lens is made by Miss Aprons. Each time I visit Brenda's lenses I see aprons or Blue-Rays. Don't know why. But it is true. And since I love aprons and since Valentines is approaching, I thought it was time to talk about this lens. If you want to find an original gift to make or simply like aprons, then this lens is made for you! Of course, aprons are heart based, red, but the are splendid!

First Shot of Blessed Squidoo Lenses by your Hostess

As promised here's the first shot of lenses I blessed as a SquidAngel. 

LITERATURE

I Capture the Castle - Novel and Movie, created by lensmaster WordCustard (the talking pear). While I read one book a week (sometimes more) I'm not a fan of novels but this lens walked me through this novel and the adapted movie and gave me the need to find the French version so that I could read it. Well, in all honesty, the word "Castle" attracted the historian that lies in me. Besides this, the lens is very well done and worth a blessing. Which is what I did. 

ARTS

Quilting and the Hopi, created by lensmaster azpoppy. I'm some kind of legitimist  and traditionalist and was attracted by this lens that walks us through the tradition to quilt in the community of the Hopi, who are American Indians. Along with wonderful pictures, we also discover a real historical lens.

American Folk Art, by lensmaster ClassyGals. Still in the same mind, I like to discover other's cultures and have to say that I definitely love American folk arts! I Hate Hourswork!, by lensmaster theraggededge. I jumped at this lens as soon as I saw its link! I also HATE housework! There was a time someone else did it for me but when I moved to the countryside, I had to do it myself, lol. In this lens, you'll discover an humorous way to apprehend housework and few indispensable tools to help you deal with this horrible task. In the end, you'll realize that whether you still hate housework, it is also a great way to have your home better - maybe lose a little money here and there because you too will want a new kitchen!

Etiquette and Modern Manners, by lensmaster PKCMR, our in-house Charlies' Angel! Did PKCMR know that I'm a bit old-fashioned woman? I don't know but he put this page together and I definitely love it! He does teach good manners, doesn't fight against anyone but just reminds us that a simple "hello" or "thank you" can do someone happy and earn you their respect for the rest of your life. This lens deserves something more than a simple blessing but I'm unfortunately not Prime Minister ;)
