The Lenses I Best Liked during my Blessing Journey

COOKING - BAKING

First time I ate panini sandwiches was in 2000 when I worked close to a snack bar that prepared the best panini I've ever ate! I've never think about making panini myself but since I've been to this lens made by Robin, I can say that I'm going to buy the necessary materials to make my own panini sandwiches so that I don't have to drive 50 km each time I want to eat one! And I highly recommend everyone to get to this lens and read it. Useful tip: do it few minutes before lunch or dinner.

Ah, this is the first cooking lens I'v ever seen in my life - and of course, my favorite one! And guess what... this talks through my favorite vegetables: Brussels sprouts. Not only do I love my home town Brussels but I also really like to eat vegetables that were named after my home town! Some would say they're "heavy", I would just say, they're comforable during Winter season. And I couldn't imagine any soup or a roasted meat without Brussels sprouts! So, if you too would like to discover Brussels sprouts, go read JaguarJulie's lens! In the same vein, you might want to get to Stuffed Cabbage; which is also a lens I love very much!

Beautiful Gingerbread Houses, by Kate Phizackerley
I know Kate for being a great marketer and professional lensmaster. When it comes to business or culture, she crafts a lens like a real artist. I didn't know her as a cook and certainly not in a trivia field like the one of baking gingerbread houses! But when I went to her lens I discovered a work as wonderful as the one she did on her business lenses. Kate is definitely a great lensmaster! One of those I admire the most! And if you too woud like to be wowed, go visit her Gingerbread houses lens, you'll be glad you did!

Healthy Sweet Potato Recipes, by Gordon Hamilton
I discovered sweet potato few years ago and have been charmed by their sweet taste. Now, I'm looking for recipes so that I can prepare them in many other ways than baked in the oven or boiled. So, I found this lens made by Gordon Hamilton and found a bunch of very interesting links that would allow me to cook sweet potatoes like a chef!

GREEN LIFE

Don't really know what to say - I'm still under influence of these tiny houses and Pastiche's writings. I learned a lot of things about these unusual houses and would like to learn much more! This topic is highly interesting and I plan to click on each and every link to resources given by Pastiche. If you too would like to learn more about this way of living green, I strongly advise you to read this lens, you'll leave with a lot more knowledge and the need to build your own tiny house!

How to Reuse Old Cd's, by a_Willow
This fantastic lens was crafted by my fellow European Michelle! She's the Recycling queen on Squidoo and always comes up with incredible ideas on how to reuse things! I'm always amazed by her imagination and creativeness and couldn't do without suggesting a visit to this lens and many others if you care about environmental matters as well as don't want to always have to throw things away - after all, we paid for anything we own...

Green Wedding Showers, by Lakeerieartists
If you're about to throw a wedding shower, then this lens is for you! Not only Lakeerieartists selected a lot of really nice products but she also focused on giving the whole lens a definitive green tone and, while unusual for a wedding related activity, it's a nice one!

This is my special encouragement blessing for today. NaturalMindset has a mind turned to Green living and has put together a very nice lens; which can be left as is it or get more content. But the overall layout and content are good as for now.

ARTS AND CULTURE

Dancerene is an almost fresh Squid I met when I joined Fresh Wonders few months ago. She is also an artist. And she put this marvelous step-by-step tutorial on how to draw people! Whether you're skilled or not, you owe to yourself to have a look at this lens as she really did a great job and drawing seems so easy after having read her work! So, shake the artist that lies in you and have a closer look at Dancerene's drawings!

ArtRage Versus Photoshop, by Flynn The Cat
Flynn the Cat is a mystery in "itself" as we'll ever know whether "it" is a man or a woman (I'm pretty sure Flynn is a woman but it is also the ONLY person who succeeded in having me doubtful about something I think!) Anyway, this doesn't prevent Flynn from being highly skilled and it's a real artist. Now that the word is out about "its" strenghts time has come for you to vote and comment for or against ArtRage and/or Photoshop! Debate is open, have a lot of fun!

Greekgeek is an erudite person who touches a topic that I'm fond of: History. Her area of expertise is Ancient Greece and she created exquisite lenses on the subject. This lens is the beginning of a journey in the Ancient Greece where you'll follow her in her travel through Greece and is crafted like a book that would include 6 chapters. The one I talk about and blessed is the first chapter. Enjoy and don't forget to take your camera!

SusannaDuffy has a very particular and strange sense of humour but she is another of our erudite persons who creates lenses based on ancient history. Her area of expertise is the Ancient Rome for the pleasure of us all on Squidoo. So, if you're about to throw a dinner party and need unusual ideas, I strongly advise you to opt for a "virtual" Anciant Roman Murder Party. You'll have a lot of fun and won't get upset by the quality of the foods!

That's it for today. See you tomorrow for another shot.
